Just a few of our favorite projects this year.
It’s that time of year where we look at the year wrapping up and the year ahead! This year, we completed a lot of your projects on time, on budget, and looking mighty fine! Here are some of our personal favorite projects of 2025.

A Child Care Center in New Bedford, MA
Our Marketing Team — Sarah B. and Peter R. — both agreed this was their top pick! Why? The transformation from an abandoned, outdated adult daycare to a thriving child care center was unbelievable. When they first stepped into the building to take before photos… let’s just say they had to wash their shoes before going home. It was very rundown and filled with who knows what! Now it’s ALL NEW!

An Animal Hospital in Norton, MA
Tamara, Sam, and Matt F. all chose this one! Remodeling a fully active animal hospital is no easy task, involved with lots of moving parts and plenty of coordination between the staff and our team. But, it went off without a hitch thanks to Tamara, Sam, Matt, Andrew, Thiago, and the entire crew!

Milk Bottle–Shaped Pizza Place in New Bedford, MA
Sam and Peter R. really liked this one, too! We nearly rebuilt the entire milk bottle structure with new boards, nails, and paint. It wasn’t your typical pizza-restaurant repaint project!

Bathroom Remodeling at an Assisted Living Facility in Newton, MA
David, one of our estimators, loved this job. We remodeled two bathrooms, one of which needed to be updated to current ADA code. A lot went into this project, and it helped David learn even more about his field!

Uniflex Roofing at a Child Care Center in New Bedford, MA
Yes… this is a different child care center! Matt F. and Sam loved this one because the building had major roof leaking issues and nothing had worked. Matt applied
Uniflex roof coating, and it hasn’t leaked since! The kids are safer, and the client is thrilled.
High School Bathroom Remodels & Hallway Painting in Providence, RI
Matt F. also chose this one! Over summer break, we remodeled eight bathrooms and repainted hallways. We replaced toilets, sinks, and more. Thanks to re:fab, these students are going back to school in style!

A Steam Room at a Spa in Connecticut
Paul, one of our estimators, loved this project! It was a new challenge for us, but similar past work helped us learn and complete the project on time and on budget. Peter R. also learned that you cannot Matterport a steam room while it’s on! They loved this job so much that we’re doing another one.

Decks for an Apartment Complex & Decks for a School
These were two separate projects, but Thiago loved both! Safety upgrades included new railings, deck repairs, and new boards to prevent falls. The school’s deck boards were old and wavy, creating tripping hazards — now they’re good as new!

A Neighborhood of Condos in Portland, ME
This was Eric’s favorite, one of our foreman. We repaired and repainted 22 units across 11 buildings, including decks, siding, and trim. It had its challenges, but still came out on time, on budget, and looking great! Eric loved it because it allowed him and his crew to work somewhere new for them, and the clients where so appreciative of the whole crew!

A Tank in Providence, RI
If you know Sarah M., you know she had a whole list — and if you know Dakota, you know he said “ditto!” We love painting tanks! This wasn’t our first, and hopefully not our last. This tank stores dangerous chemicals, so we refreshed our safety training and took extra precautions to keep everyone safe. We power-washed the interior double chamber, repainted, and recoated using materials designed for these kinds of tanks.

Another Phase of a Multi-Phase, Multi-Year Project in Roxbury, MA
Thiago and Ian Power chose this one! It’s the largest project re:fab has ever produced — roofing, siding, painting, windows, decks, lighting, doors, and more. Weekly calls kept communication smooth throughout. Completing this project in the fall added challenges like weather and supply timelines, but the team delivered!

A New Home Remodel in Florida
Deleila from our Florida team loved this one! It was her first time working with our renovation crews, and she got to see them in action. Transforming a messy, outdated home into a beautiful modern space was awesome. Plus, since she was one of the clients, she got to help pick finishes — like being on HGTV!

A New Swing Suite at a Country Club in Dartmouth, MA
Derek, one of our project managers, selected this one! Seeing a worn bag-storage room become a state-of-the-art indoor golf suite was impressive — even for someone who does transformations for a living!

Repainting Homes in Westport, MA & Dartmouth, MA
Sergio, our Lead Paint Estimator, loved these projects. Both homes had woodpecker damage that required creative repairs. Once fixed, Moises, Eric, and their teams repainted the homes — including an all-black exterior, which was very cool!
Repaired & Repainted Shopping Center in Orlando, FL
Matthew M.’s favorite project of the year! We repaired the stucco and repainted the entire shopping center, including the dumpster area. He enjoyed getting to know the client and the crews while gaining lots of valuable experience.
What a year! 2025 was packed with big projects, big transformations, and even bigger wins thanks to our incredible team and clients. We couldn’t choose just one favorite because you gave us so many reasons to be proud. A big thank you to all of our crews who worked very hard to make these dreams come true on not just our favorite projects of 2025, but all of them!
