Operations Coordinator

The primary purpose of the Operations Coordinator is to control the overall process of the business and ensure all steps of the process are followed. It is the position that maintains a smooth and efficient office environment. You will be responsible to take care of all daily core responsibilities:

1. Manage lead portals/office line, enter new leads, and schedule estimate appointments for all new leads entered the system

2. Manage and maintain the master production schedule

3. Work with Finance and Ops teams to collect open WO and invoices & order all materials/equipment requested by Production team

4. Job set-up folder coordination and close out document processing

5. Daily client communication of active jobs and closeout calls for completed jobs

Painter (In-House) (Part-Time)

re:fab is looking for qualified part-time painters to join our team! We are currently hiring part-time painters in the New England area for commercial and residential projects.

The Right Fit Should:

  • Have general knowledge of ladder and power equipment use (i.e. sanders, sprayers, large ladders, lifts, etc.)
  • Have a thorough understanding of preparation procedures (i.e. sanding, caulking, sealing, etc.)
  • Show an ability to learn all painting functions; i.e. paint windows, doors, soffits, fascia, shutters, etc.
  • Arrive to the job or pick-up spot prior to designated time daily, unless otherwise specified by crew leader or supervisor
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs
  • Ability to perform light carpentry
  • Apply wall coverings, as directed by supervisor
  • Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment
  • Ability to work in a face-paced & evolving environment
  • Keep detailed reports of work completed and report daily logs to re:fab team
  • Complete jobs on time and budget

In this position, the roofer will be responsible for all aspects of pricing, installing, and repairing/replacing roofs for our commercial and residential renovation division. In this position, the carpenter will be responsible for all aspects of pricing, building, installing, and repairing structures and other items using different types of materials including wood and other building materials for our commercial and residential renovation division. Our ideal candidate must be familiar with various types of commercial and residential new construction, rough framing, siding, window and door installation and remodeling jobs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our estimating team on job quotes
  • Measure, mark, and arrange materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from re:fab supervisors
  • Cut and shape structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall
  • Use various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects
  • Join materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive
  • Ensure the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed

Concrete Floor Polishers/Grinders

re:fab is looking for an experienced concrete grinding and floor polishing installers and crews to work as a subcontractor for commercial projects throughout the New England area.

In this position, the concrete polisher/grinder will be responsible for all aspects of pricing, measuring, removing, installing and repairing concrete flooring for our commercial renovation division. Our ideal candidate must be familiar with stripping existing concrete floors, flash patching, applying densifier, filling cracks and joints with epoxy, and burnishing.
