The Position of Operations Coordinator is an integral part of what helps grow the business. Growth comes from market penetration as well as internal systems development. The Operations Coordinator is the key position behind developing and strengthening the internal infrastructure of the business. With growth comes the challenge of building the business while protecting the relationships it has with its customers. That important link between the promise made and service experience delivered needs to be protected. This can only be done effectively if the administrative environment of the business is in order and well managed.

Through a variety of responsibilities and tasks, the Operations Coordinator will effectively coordinate the production process, working with all members of the organization. This document will serve as your guide to execute the required functions and will provide you with the tools to carry out your role. Through all of the responsibilities, it is expected that the customer needs to be at the forefront of everything that gets done.

The primary purpose of the Operations Coordinator is to control the overall process of the business and ensure all steps of the process are followed. It is the position that maintains a smooth and efficient office environment. You will be responsible to take care of all daily core responsibilities:

  1. Review all lead portals/office line, monitor new leads, and schedule estimate appointments for all new leads entered the System. Enter direct leads into the system and schedule appointments
  2. Manage and maintain the master production schedule, weekly billing, Confirm Hours, and NOP based on the updates provided from production team prior to 10 am. Review results with Director of Operations. Collect open WO and Invoices, Confirm invoices are ready to submit for payment and send over to Finance for payment
  3. Review all job set up folders, ensure folders have been completed correctly and contain all required documentation. File completed set up folders neatly until handoff meeting with the crew. File completed folders containing closed out documents when job is fully completed and mark job as to be invoiced.
  4. Reach out to all active jobs daily to confirm client satisfaction and record notes from customers. Call all completed jobs and thank the customer for the business.
  5. Order all materials/Equipment requested by production team prior to 2pm, issue PO to match order.

Job Site Supervisor

Framer/Drywaller

re:fab is looking for an experienced carpenters/framers to work as a subcontractor for commercial and residential projects throughout the New England area.

In this position, the carpenter will be responsible for all aspects of pricing, building, installing, and repairing structures and other items using different types of materials including wood and other building materials for our commercial and residential renovation division. Our ideal candidate must be familiar with various types of commercial and residential new construction, rough framing, siding, window and door installation and remodeling jobs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our estimating team on job quotes
  • Measure, mark, and arrange materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from re:fab supervisors
  • Cut and shape structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall
  • Use various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects
  • Join materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive
  • Ensure the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed
  • Install windows, doors, cabinets, partitions, moldings, etc.
  • Remodel homes and businesses
  • Perform carpentry work in a neat, organized and timely manner
  • Work with our operations team to obtain permits for construction work to be performed, if needed
  • Work collaboratively with the re:fab estimating and operations team
  • Keep detailed reports of work completed and report daily logs to re:fab team
  • Complete jobs on time and budget
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, and adhere to company standards and safety program
  • Adhere to local building and safety codes and guidelines

General Requirements:
  • Applicant MUST have a reliable & insured truck or van to travel to and from job sites.
  • Working cell phone
  • Ability to travel to jobs located throughout the New England area
  • This is a FULL TIME employee position
Compensation:
  • Hourly compensation depending on experience
  • Weekly general wear and tear vehicle stipend
  • Gas reimbursement
The Right Fit Should/Have:
  • Have general knowledge of ladder and power equipment use (i.e. sanders, sprayers, large ladders, lifts, etc.).
  • Have a thorough understanding of preparation procedures (i.e. sanding, caulking, sealing, etc.).
  • Show an ability to learn all painting functions; i.e. paint windows, doors, soffits, fascia, shutters, etc.
  • Arrive to the job or pick-up spot prior to designated time daily, unless otherwise specified by crew leader or supervisor.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs
  • Ability to perform light carpentry
  • Apply wall coverings as directed by supervisor.
  • Submit reports on all worked performed.
  • Make recommendations to his/her supervisor as necessary on the condition of wall coatings and coverings in the facility.
  • Must be able to read/understand English
  • Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures; adhere to company standards and safety program.
