We’ll Swing the Hammers, You Swing the Golf Clubs!
Over the past few years, we’ve built out many indoor virtual golf simulator rooms, and these impressive systems are a whole different game compared to your typical PlayStation setup. They take more than just “plug and play.” You need padded walls, turf flooring, giant screens, sensors, and more. But in the long run, they’re absolutely worth it!

Check out our latest golf simulator project built at a country club in Dartmouth, MA. The club wanted something that would attract members and guests during the colder months and on rainy days when outdoor golf isn’t an option. So, they called us to transform their old bag room into a state-of-the-art Swing Suite and Golf Simulator Room.

Not only did we complete the simulator installation, but we also repainted the entire space, replaced the flooring, added a bar seating area, and more. We created an incredible, immersive experience for members to enjoy virtual golf in style. Take a 360° tour of the project below! On top of that, we helped them move the bag room, and redid the floors of the new bag room using Blue River Coatings HTE Concrete Floor.
More Than Just Golf, A Smart Business Move
This addition isn’t just fun; it’s smart. The simulator room is expected to increase member engagement and revenue during the off-season and on rainy days. It also drives restaurant and bar sales, since guests can order food and drinks while they play. And with the room connected directly to the pro shop, it naturally boosts retail traffic, that classic “exit-through-the-gift-shop” effect. On top of the fun, this also helps with lessons. It makes for a better controlled environment to help teach people how to play golf and also allows the club to sell lessons in the off-season as well.
For clubs, it’s also a major value-add for members, who appreciate year-round access to amenities that competing clubs and courses don’t already offer.
Why Choose re:fab?
This isn’t the first time this country club has called us for remodeling and repainting projects, we also completed a major bathroom renovation for them last year! And, it’s definitely not our first golf simulator build. We’ve done several of these projects, in fact, we even installed one for ourselves at our office! Take a look at what we did at GOLFTEC and some others, too!
Why Add an Indoor Golf Simulator to Your Property?
It just makes sense. For country clubs, indoor golf simulators and the game itself go hand-in-hand. Golf continues to grow in popularity, up nearly 5% year over year, thanks in part to indoor golf venues and entertainment spots like Topgolf.
But simulators aren’t just for clubs, they’re also perfect for commercial properties like multi-family communities and even office spaces.
-
For apartment complexes: Stand out from competitors by converting an unused common area or storage room into an amenity tenants will love. It’s a great way to keep rents competitive and residents happy.
-
For offices: We can vouch for it firsthand, we have one in our own conference room! It’s fantastic for team-building, employee tournaments, stress relief, and even presentations (the large screen is perfect for meetings).
In Summary
A virtual golf simulator can:
-
Increase sales and engagement at country clubs and restaurants
-
Enhance amenities in apartment complexes
-
Improve employee morale and collaboration in offices
-
Even add fun and value to your own home
