In the spring and summer of 2024, we completed a huge job for one of our clients, Berkeley Partners, in Marlborough, MA! We repainted and repaired three large industrial buildings!
The Project:
From the start, this project was not an easy task. We had to figure out how much paint we would need to use on rough and fluted brick — that’s not an easy guess! Plus, we needed to address countless smaller repairs and caulking all over the buildings. We got to work fast with power washing the buildings, priming, painting multiple coats, and then caulking all the windows, doors, and loading docks — and there were lots of loading docks!
Communication is key to every project, but on jobs like these, it is absolutely essential. We not only needed to keep the client in the loop, but also the tenants — our client’s clients — so they would know when certain doors and windows couldn’t be used and when to move their cars. Plus, we had to work around their schedules, especially with the loading docks, so our work didn’t affect theirs. This meant painting after hours, during slower hours, on weekends, and even on holidays if needed. Our goal was to complete the job without disrupting the flow of the building.
We knew we had to repaint all of these buildings as quickly as possible without any mistakes, ensuring the work would last — and do it all without breaking the bank for us or the client! That’s why we used Sherwin-Williams Loxon XP to get the job done on time and on budget.
