With restored and added character!
The seaside fishing town of Fairhaven is known for some historic New England Charm. When opening a new business in Fairhaven it is important to capture the charm that Fairhaven is known for in the South Coast. We helped transform this closed neighborhood restaurant to this open neighborhood dining experience. We restored and added character to this space to fit the charm that the town has to offer! The owners and chefs worked on the food and drinks, Lauren Grant, did the design and we brought their vision to life!
From The Outside:
On the outside, we repainted the 1st floor of the building, repainted the main door, replaced the window awnings, changed out lightings and some hardware, and we even filled in an unused door. Take a look at this upgrade!
To The Inside:
The inside is where most of the work happened! We completely redid the behind the bar, adding arched shelving, with small details that add to its historic charm! We also installed a copper bar top. Over time, the bar top will start to look more weathered and used; this will add to the rustic seaside feel. We added beadboard to the whole restaurant; adding this made the place feel more homey and more historic, as well. Take a look at what we did to the bar and dining room!
Even the Bathrooms!
With restaurants, you have to look at the whole experience, and yes that means the bathroom too! Instead of keeping it simple like it was before, we made it match the vibe. Take a look at the improvement we made to the bathroom and the hallway outside the bathrooms. And yes, you might recognize that mirror from the old bar!
Even The Kitchen!
We didn’t do as much work to the kitchen as we did to the rest of the place. But, we did get the hoods back up and running, replaced the lighting and helped reorganize some old and new equipment. This part of the kitchen is open to the dining room, so guests can see the chefs working their magic to craft the most delicious meals.
In the End
This project finished right on time and right on budget, which is very rare for a restaurant re:model! In just five months everything in this space was transformed and improved! Now the residents of Fairhaven and visitors get to enjoy some great food and drinks in this great space! Take a look at this 3D Tour to see for yourself!
