Position Summary

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee renovation and construction projects from kickoff through completion. In this position, the carpenter will be responsible for all aspects of pricing, building, installing, and repairing structures and other items using different types of materials including wood and other building materials for our commercial and residential renovation division. Our ideal candidate must be familiar with various types of commercial and residential new construction, rough framing, siding, window and door installation and remodeling jobs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our estimating team on job quotes
• Measure, mark, and arrange materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from re:fab supervisors
• Cut and shape structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall
• Use various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects
• Join materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive
• Ensure the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed
• Install windows, doors, cabinets, partitions, moldings, etc.
• Remodel homes and businesses
• Perform carpentry work in a neat, organized and timely manner
• Work with our operations team to obtain permits for construction work to be performed, if needed
• Work collaboratively with the re:fab estimating and operations team
• Keep detailed reports of work completed and report daily logs to re:fab team
