We’re looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our Renovations team. This role is ideal for someone who may not have decades of experience but works hard, learns fast, travels willingly, and does what it takes to get the job done right.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Project Execution & Oversight

  • Set up and manage renovation projects from award through closeout
  • Conduct site inspections and document existing conditions
  • Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, materials, and vendors
  • Track progress, budgets, and schedules to keep projects on target
  • Review plans, scopes, contracts, change orders, and daily reports

 

Estimating & Pre-Construction Support

  • Perform detailed takeoffs from plans and site conditions

Communication & Teamwork

re:fab is looking for an experienced carpenters/framers to work as a subcontractor for commercial and residential projects throughout the New England area.

In this position, the carpenter will be responsible for all aspects of pricing, building, installing, and repairing structures and other items using different types of materials including wood and other building materials for our commercial and residential renovation division. Our ideal candidate must be familiar with various types of commercial and residential new construction, rough framing, siding, window and door installation and remodeling jobs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our estimating team on job quotes
  • Measure, mark, and arrange materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from re:fab supervisors
  • Cut and shape structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall
  • Use various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects

Compensation:
  • Hourly compensation depending on experience
  • Weekly general wear and tear vehicle stipend

The Right Fit Should/Have:
  • Have general knowledge of ladder and power equipment use (i.e. sanders, sprayers, large ladders, lifts, etc.).
  • Have a thorough understanding of preparation procedures (i.e. sanding, caulking, sealing, etc.).
  • Show an ability to learn all painting functions; i.e. paint windows, doors, soffits, fascia, shutters, etc.
  • Arrive to the job or pick-up spot prior to designated time daily, unless otherwise specified by crew leader or supervisor.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs
  • Ability to perform light carpentry
  • Apply wall coverings as directed by supervisor.
  • Submit reports on all worked performed.
  • Make recommendations to his/her supervisor as necessary on the condition of wall coatings and coverings in the facility.
  • Must be able to read/understand English
  • Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures; adhere to company standards and safety program.
