For re:fab annual golf tournament, this year was a little different. All the proceeds went to the Apponequet Laker Football Team, whose football season has been saved with help from this golf tournament and its sponsors who were more than willing to give items for the raffle, swag bags or even a cash donation.

The weather could not have been a better day for golf. At an equally beautiful course right off the beaten path tucked away in the woods of Lakeville, MA, Poquoy Brook Golf Club had an army of golf carts ready for the golfers along with their well-kept grounds. In teams of four with scramble rules golfers found the course challenging, but a good time overall. Some were able to walk away with birdies, even fewer were able to score a coveted eagle, and there was a report that one lucky participant was able to score a very impressive hole-in-one! I was at the eighteenth hole for the day taking pictures of the golfers making their way through the course and some just coming to the end. In at the end of the day the real winner here was not the team with the lowest score,
it was the Apponequet Football Team!
